Kurt Cobain 15 Year Reflection Show in Seattle, WA - April 10
Motor, the newest rock venue in Seattle's SoDo district, is hosting a benefit concert for The Kurt Cobain Memorial Committee (KCMC) in commeration of the 15-year anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain.
Performing at the show is the only KCMC-endorsed Nirvana tribute band Nevermind.
This inaugural benefit concert is scheduled for 8 p.m., Friday, April 10, at the historic Motor warehouse, a facility used by Nirvana to rehearse prior to the recording of their last studio album, In Utero.
The show is open to all ages. One-third of all proceeds from the event goes toward the Kurt Cobain Memorial Committee's goal of building a youth center in Cobain's honor in his hometown of Aberdeen, Wash.
The fundraising event also features local support, High Class Wreckage, a gritty, barebones, three-piece rock 'n' roll band tearing through the Seattle music scene.
