NFC News News on Kurt Cobain biopic
From The Hollywood Reporter:

"Oren Moverman is moving on to his next tragedy.

Coming off two Oscar nominations for his directing debut, 'The Messenger,' Moverman is in negotiations to rework the screenplay for Universal's untitled Kurt Cobain project and direct it as well.

Screenwriter David Benioff ('Brothers') first took on the project in fall 2007 for Working Title and Reveille.

Material on the life, music and 1994 suicide of the Nirvana singer-songwriter will come at least partially from Charles R. Cross' 2001 biography, 'Heavier Than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain.'

Universal originally purchased the life rights of both Cobain and his widow, Courtney Love, who had already optioned the film rights to the Cross book.

Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan and Ben Silverman are producing. Love is an executive producer along with her lawyer Howard Weitzman."

NFC News "Crisco" footage on YouTube
I came across a video on YouTube that I would like to share with everyone here, since this is something not many people have seen. In the Come As You Are book by Michael Azerrad, it talks about Krist Novoselic and the gang playing Twister with Crisco. Someone has found footage of this, broadcast on MTV no less, and posted it online. It is truly interesting to watch Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins play Crisco Twister! WARNING: Krist is in his undies and does something which is not for everybody's eyes in this video. Thankfully, it's blurred. Click here to be morally offended. ;)
