| NFC News In Utero 20th Anniversary to be celebrated in Argentina | |
On September 13th, La Capilla, a concert venue in Buenos Aires, Argentina will host a massive event celebrating the 20th anniversary of In Utero. The event is headlined by the amazing band OLDER SISTER who will perform covers of the entire album live.The event will also feature big-screen projections of Nirvana, contests and a lot of live music. Tickets are just $6 USD. Check out Facebook for more info. On this page, you can also submit your own Nirvana covers. Rolling Stone has revealed the complete tracklisting for the upcoming Super Deluxe edition of the In Utero 20th anniversary re-issue. The set will include two versions of the actual In Utero album, as well as a number of unreleased demos, live performances, rehearsals and B-sides. As previously mentioned, a DVD of the complete "Live and Loud" performance will also be released - including previously unseen rehearsals, and other rare live clips. Three different editions will be released: a Super Deluxe box-set with 3 CDs and one DVD (plus a book with rare photos), a two-disc version and a 3-LP edition. The DVD will also be available as a stand-alone disc. | Nirvana is featured on the cover of the September 2013 issue of MOJO Magazine. The issue also includes a free Sub Pop Silver Jubilee CD. Inside the magazine, there is a lengthy article commemorating the 20th anniversary of the In Utero album.
