Foo Fighters dedicate song to Nirvana at festival
From NME: "Foo Fighters made a teasing reference to Nirvana during their V Festival appearance last night (August 18).
Dave Grohl's band were playing their second set of the day after surprising fans by playing a surprise acoustic set earlier in the afternoon.
Following the nod to the future, Grohl paid tribute to his past ahead of 'Learn To Fly', Dave Grohl saying: 'This goes out to Snow Patrol, Pink and the band I used to drum for...'
Leaving fans hanging on that he was talking about Nirvana he then chimed in with 'Juilette and The Licks! Man, I really blew that gig!' "
The band also played some tracks from their forthcoming album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace which is set to be released on September 25.
